Chapel Hart Cancels Their CMA Fest Performance
Country trio Chapel Hart shared an important update with fans about their scheduled appearance at CMA Fest this weekend.
The group took to social media on Thursday, June 5, to announce that they had to cancel their CMA Fest show this year. They are currently dealing with a “personal family matter.”
They were originally scheduled to perform on Saturday, June 7, with appearances that included a show for Opry at the Ryman and a fan meet-and-greet.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will not be attending this year’s CMA Fest,” their statement began. “This decision was not made lightly, but due to personal family matters that require our attention and presence at this time, we must step away and take a brief pause.”
Chapel Hart didn’t share specific details about the situation that needed their attention. They did thank fans and the Country Music Association, however, for being so understanding during this difficult time.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Country Music Association, the CMA Fest team, and most of all, our fans, for your unwavering love, support, and patience,” the statement continued. “Your kindness means more to us than words can express. We look forward to returning to the stage when the time is right and reconnecting with all of you very soon.”

The trio’s members include sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and their cousin Trea Swindle.
They received the Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell on AGT after performing their original song “You Can Have Him Jolene.” The track was written as a response to Dolly Parton’s classic hit “Jolene.”
They ended up placing fifth in the competition that season.
The group made headlines last year when they announced that they were taking a step back from the country music industry.
However, they clarified that stepping back didn’t mean they were done making music.
Instead, it meant shifting their focus to no longer chase fame or awards. They want to make music on their own terms and for the fans who truly support them.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Chapel Hart during this time.
