Carrie Underwood is arguably one of the biggest Nashville Predators fans out there…with good reason as her husband of almost 8 years has been a part of Music City’s NHL team for almost as long as they’ve been married. But Carrie has a superfan of her own as seen in a new video she shared to social media Monday night.

Carrie had the honor of singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” prior to the Predators’ Stanley Cup Playoff game against the Winnipeg Jets on April 29. The crowd went wild when she made walked out on to the ice donning a Preds jersey with her husband’s number on it. As she began to sing, the crowd sang along and offered cheering and applause each time she reached the difficult notes. But, one fan in the stands couldn’t contain his excitement even though he’s heard her sing dozens, possibly hundreds, of times before.

3-year old Isaiah Fisher, Carrie and Mike’s son, had the rare opportunity to hear his mom sing in front of a crowd and his reaction was captured on video by Carrie’s best friend, Ivey Childers. Underwood shared the video to Instagram with a touching caption that all moms can relate to.
“As a child, I wanted nothing more than to make my parents proud of me…and now, as a mother, I want to make my child proud,” Carrie wrote.” He never really gets to see me sing because he’s in bed before I go on stage, but last night he was there to watch his daddy play…and he also got see his mommy sing for a minute.”
