Hannah Harper Reacts After Receiving High-End Gift From Carrie Underwood
American Idol star Hannah Harper was left stunned after she received a thoughtful gift from judge Carrie Underwood.
On April 13, Harper shared a photo of the iconic blue packaging from Tiffany & Co., a luxury brand known for their high-end jewelry, watches, crystal, and more.
Harper’s photo didn’t showcase the specific piece Underwood sent her, but she made it clear it was a jewelry item. Sharing her surprise, Harper wrote, “Didn’t think my first piece of @tiffanyandco jewelry would come from @carrieunderwood…“
However, while Harper was beyond grateful for the gift, she was more moved by the handwritten note Underwood sent with it.
“That meant more than anything,” Harper said. “Just her taking the time to do that… it says everything about who she is. Y’all, she’s as down-to-earth and genuine as they come. Just a good, kind human. I love her dearly.”
Underwood penned her note in a flowing script, and it’s partially cut off in the photo, so it’s a little challenging to read. It appears to read:
“Miss Hannah, Congratulations on making it to the Top 11! From the first time I laid eyes on you – and heard your story and your voice, I knew you were special. So many women and moms everywhere have related to you. You are an inspiration!!! I can not wait to see what God has in store for you + I am so blessed to have a front row seat!“

Harper wasn’t the only Idol star who received a Tiffany & Co. gift from Underwood!
Braden Rumfelt took to his Instagram Story to thank her for sending him a customized necklace. He said that Underwood gifted a similar piece of jewelry to every member of the Top 11. He also thanked Underwood during the show on April 13th.
Additionally, Philmon Lee shared a “thank you” message for Underwood on his Instagram Story, where he showcased the necklace she sent him. It has his first initial on the front and a heart with Underwood’s first and last initials on the back.
Jordan McCullough also shared a photo of the surprise gift and a note he received from Underwood. His reaction in the photo’s caption was priceless.
“thank you SO much!” he wrote. “I am truly grateful to experience your expertise with this entire journey so far! I’m forever inspired by your grace & humility! You are the perfect example of how to love God’s people well! I feel seen, validated and championed by your generosity.”
He added, “Yall I ain’t nevaaaaa had to ‘unravel’ a ribbon off of a box before… THIS IS NICEEEEEEE!“
Did Hannah Harper Advance Into The Top 9 On American Idol?
Hannah Harper won over millions of people with her audition for Season 24 of American Idol. The young mother of three, who has a history of singing in her family’s gospel bluegrass band, performed an original song titled “String Cheese.”
The song was inspired by Harper’s personal struggles with postpartum depression following the birth of her third child. Her delicate, heartfelt performance moved Carrie Underwood (and many others) to tears. Underwood called Harper one of her favorite singers to ever walk into the audition room.
Since then, Harper has solidified her status as a frontrunner in the competition. She continues to amaze with her performances, including covers from artists such as Jo Dee Messina and Fleetwood Mac.
The latter performance occurred during the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-themed night on Monday, April 13th. Harper received lots of compliments from the judges, with Underwood calling her performance “absolutely gorgeous.”
But was it enough to help her avoid elimination?
The Top 9 Idol contestants were revealed at the end of the episode on April 13th. One by one, host Ryan Seacrest read off the names of the contestants who were saved, and Harper was in the mix!
