Carrie Underwood has released a number of notable duets over the years. Who can ever forget “Remind Me” with Brad Paisley or “The Fighter” with Keith Urban?

Now, Underwood has another duet coming down the pipeline. While we don’t know much about the song, we do know two things. First, we know she recorded it recently. Number two, we know who her duet partner is!

This person is someone Underwood has never collaborated with before. So we’re excited to hear what their voices sound like together.

Her new duet partner is also one of the biggest artists in country music at the moment. One of his hit singles just won the Grammy for Country Song of the Year.

Also, Underwood and her future collaborator are both up for the Video of the Year Award at the upcoming CMT Music Awards on April 2. That narrows down the pool quite a bit, doesn’t it?

So who is Underwood’s newest duet partner? It’s the one and only Cody Johnson!

Johnson was actually the one who shared the news about his duet with Underwood. He spilled the beans in an interview with Cody Alan that aired during the CMT Music Awards‘ nominee special.

Underwood and Johnson just recorded their song the day before Johnson’s chat with Alan. Johnson said he loved working with Underwood, calling her “such a pro.”

This is one duet we can’t wait to hear!

In the meantime, listen to Johnson’s powerful “Dear Rodeo” duet with Reba McEntire below. He knows how to pick good duet partners, that’s for sure.
