It’s tough to beat lemonade on a hot day, and when there’s demand … there’s usually someone with a supply.

According to ABC affiliate network WISN, three boys were selling lemonade and had a special encounter with a big star.

Country artist Luke Combs is presently on his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, and his tour brought him to Wisconsin on May 15 and May 16, where he played two sold-out shows at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

While in the area, he made his way to Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, and found himself quenched for thirst after playing some golf on Saturday, May 16.

Like an oasis in the Wisconsin terrain, he found a lemonade stand… and the boys running the stand also had sparkling water and other goodies.

One of the three boys running the stand, named William Dahlem, told WISN about Combs’ visit to their lemonade stand, saying, “He walked up, he wanted four BUBBL’R, and he tipped us like $120.”

With help from Combs’ contribution, they reported that they made about $300, which the three boys said they’d split evenly amongst themselves.

Responding to Combs’ post on social media about his time in Wisconsin, which included a photo of his visit to the lemonade stand, Erika Dahlem, the mother of one of the boys, wrote in the comments, “Thanks for stopping!! You made our boys’ day!!”

She attached this photo of their stand to her comment:

Notably, the next day, May 17, Combs chose not to attend the ACM Awards, where he was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Artist-Songwriter of the Year.

While Combs did not win in any of those categories, the winner of Entertainer of the Year, Cody Johnson, memorably dedicated the award to Combs.
