Blake Shelton’s New “Voice” Bromance Shines In Coach Performance

The Voice / YouTube

One of our favorite parts of having superstar coaches be part of The Voice is when they perform together. Every season, they do at least one coaches performance and because everyone’s voice is so different, all four joining together is just pure magic.

This 23rd season, returning coaches Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson are welcoming newcomers Niall Horan and Chance The Rapper.

Monday March 6th marks the very last premiere of The Voice that Blake Shelton will ever be a part of, and he’s making sure the whole season isn’t about him. (Just kidding!)

For their Season 23 coach performance, the four superstar singers took on the classic song “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” originally by Frankie Valli. Sitting in a circle on The Voice set, Chance The Rapper kicked off the song, shocking fans and past competitors that he has a beautiful singing voice!

Former One Direction boy bander Horan took over vocals, making women everywhere swoon. Shelton chimed in with the lyrics, “At long last, love has arrived, and I thank God I’m alive,” while pointing to Horan, who gestured to Shelton and back to himself.

Throughout the performance, each coach took the lead and showed off their stunning vocals, but really, Horan and Shelton stole the show with their budding romance. They looked longingly in each other’s eyes while singing the romantic lyrics.

Horan sang to Shelton, “Now that I’ve found you, stay,” and Shelton replied, “And let me love you, baby.”

We really should have seen this coming, though! During their promo videos, Horan and Shelton were paired up together and had great chemistry!
