The 25-year-old conservationist and TV personality shared a thoughtful post on Saturday, March 23, looking back on their journey together.
Bindi’s sweet social media throwback comes just a few days before their anniversary and their daughter Grace’s third birthday.
Her post showcased a romantic photo from their early days together, featuring Chandler lifting her in a white dress she wore during her Dancing With The Stars days.
“I was 17, you were 19 when this photo was taken, nine years ago, when I was on the show Dancing With the Stars. Falling in love with you was immediate. Loving you more every day is utterly effortless,” Bindi wrote in the caption of her post.
“All these years later and every time you smile at me, my heart skips a beat. Here’s to a lifetime of love.”
Chandler opted for a different photo on his social media to mark their fourth wedding anniversary: one capturing their ceremony itself.
The image revisits their nature-inspired wedding, featuring a cake designed to resemble tree bark. Bindi and Chandler exchanged vows surrounded by animals, with a koala among their special guests.
“I can’t wait to do more life with you,” Chandler wrote. “I love you.”

The couple tied the knot on March 25, 2020. Exactly one year later, they joyously welcomed their daughter, Grace, into the world.
The couple’s story began in late 2013 when Chandler Powell, then a professional wakeboarder, visited Australia for a competition and stopped by the Australia Zoo, where the Irwin family resides and works. They stayed in touch for several years before Bindi revealed their relationship during her appearance on Season 21 of Dancing With The Stars.
Eventually, Powell relocated to Australia to be with Bindi, and in 2019, he popped the question, asking her to marry him.

Bindi and Chandler then welcomed their daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, on March 25, 2021.
Prior to her birth, they had not yet decided on a name for their daughter. However, they were certain they wanted to give her a family name.
“We have been looking through family history on both my side and Chandler’s side for family name inspiration,” Bindi told The Bump during an interview. “Once she arrives I think we’ll know exactly what to name her.“
The couple decided on “Grace” as their daughter’s first name to honor Bindi’s great-grandmother and several members of Chandler’s family.
As for Grace’s two middle names, “Warrior Irwin,” both were chosen as a tribute to Bindi’s late father, Steve Irwin.
“Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior,” Bindi said.
Bindi chose to keep her last name after marrying Chandler, however, Grace carries his last name, “Powell.”
“Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad,” Bindi said.
