Ashley McBryde released “Light On In The Kitchen” on February 24, 2023

The song was released on February 24, 2023 as the lead single for her album The Devil I Know, which she dropped on September 8, 2023. The song, which she co-wrote with Jessi Alexander and Connie Harrington, was inspired by the wisdom that the women in her family have passed down.

She took the stage, which was adorned with beautiful lights that you can picture being on at many homes, and sang her incredible song. She sang with such meaning that she had many in the audience tearing up.

McBryde even had her own mother in the music video.
