‘American Idol’ Announces Top 20 Contestants

On Sunday, American Idol fans witnessed the crucial moment when the Top 20 contestants were announced, following America’s votes.

This intense three-hour results show not only introduced the successful singers to the next stage but also challenged them to perform a song right away in hopes of securing a place in the Top 14, set to be unveiled live on Monday (ABC, 8/7c).

This phase proved to be a harsh reality for the four contestants who were unable to gather sufficient support from the viewers, marking the end of their American Idol journey.
