Standing three stories tall on a hillside overlooking downtown Nashville, this wild and wonderful estate has an incredible view that is truly fitting of a superstar!
John Rich, of country duo Big & Rich, has been a huge part of the country music community for decades and has helped craft some of the biggest hits in several artist’s careers while also crafting his own musical legacy.
Sitting down with fellow country star Kellie Pickler and her talk show co-host Ben Aaron, Rich took the cameras of Pickler & Ben on an exclusive tour of his Nashville mansion – a place he calls “the house that music built.”
The three-story-tall house is guarded by a beautiful metal gate that welcomes everyone to “Mt. Richmore” as it’s known. Immediately upon entering the home, you are greeted with memorabilia of country music’s rich history, and turn the corner to take the elevator to the main living and entertaining areas.
Once on the main floor, you can see the incredible view of Nashville that Rich says has inspired him to write songs like the Big & Rich hit, “Look at You.” He confessed that his favorite place to pen a new hit is at the bar, looking out on Music City.
Beyond this massive view, the vast entertaining space boasts a full bar, stage, and even another room filled with inspiring pieces of country music history. Beyond decadence and luxury, Rich has cemented his house as a sanctuary for music by building a custom, 73-foot-long guitar-shaped pool with a hot tub as the headstock.
