LeAnn Rimes Sobs After Experiencing A “Deep Jaw Release”
LeAnn Rimes had an extremely emotional reaction after finally feeling relief from a procedure that released tension in her jaw.
On Sunday, March 29, a video shared by Human Garage showed LeAnn Rimes receiving a jaw release technique from its co-founder, Garry Lineham. The wellness company focuses on using facial maneuvers to promote self-healing.
In the clip, Rimes is seen lying down as Lineham uses his hand inside her mouth to realign her jaw. Another person supports the back of her head while Lineham applies firm pressure.
It’s unclear if the procedure was painful at the time, but it was obvious when the “Blue” singer felt its effects. She immediately broke down into uncontrollable sobs.
Lineman then encouraged her to say, “That part of my life is over,” to which Rimes replied with a laugh, “That part of my life BETTER be over.”
“Oh my God, you just don’t realize how much tension is in there,” she added.
The post’s caption went on to explain what the method used on Rimes is meant for.
“Healing isn’t always quiet. Sometimes it’s a physical letting go of things we didn’t even know we were carrying,” Human Garage began. “In this powerful session, @garrylineham works with @leannrimes on a deep Jaw Release. You can see the exact moment the tension breaks and the emotional weight lifts, leaving her feeling visibly lighter and more aligned.”
The caption continued, “The jaw is one of the body’s primary storage sites for stress. When we hold back our voice or push through pressure, the fascia in the face and neck ‘locks’ to protect us. By using the maneuvers to signal safety to the nervous system, we can finally allow that stored energy to move.”
Remember When LeAnn Rimes Underwent A $10,000 Plasma Treatment?
Rimes’ jaw release isn’t the only unique health treatment she’s done. Earlier this year, the two-time Grammy winner revealed she had undergone a therapeutic plasma exchange at Next Health in Nashville.
She posted a video on her Instagram, bringing fans along with her to the appointment.
The process involved Rimes having IVs placed in both of her arms. According to the health center’s website, the treatment works by removing plasma from the blood to “eliminate inflammatory proteins, toxins, and cellular waste, then replace it with sterile albumin to replenish essential nutrients.” This is said to support “longevity, immune resilience, and overall cellular health by optimizing the body’s internal environment.”
This, unlike the jaw release, may be harder to watch for those with a weak stomach. Midway through the plasma exchange, Rimes holds up a large bag filled with yellow liquid that had been removed from her body.
When it comes to her recent jaw treatment, Rimes didn’t share the cost. However, she did reveal the price of the plasma exchange for anyone curious… and it’s not cheap. A single appointment costs $10,000.
“I’m very aware that access to treatments like this isn’t universal,” Rimes said in the video’s caption. “i share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what’s been working for me.”
Her transparency about her health journey comes less than a year after a shocking incident on stage. While performing in Washington, her front teeth suddenly fell out.
@leannrimes listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming and touring. i demand so much from my body and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it i possibly can. this is my second round of plasma exchange with next health to help clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics and this time, i’ve added stem cells to encourage overall repair. i’ve always been passionate about health and open conversations around it, and i know when i share these experiences it often sparks a lot of curiosity and thoughtful questions. my hope is simply to inform and continue the dialogue around what healing can look like. i also want to say this with care i’m very aware that access to treatments like this isn’t universal. i share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what’s been working for me. endless gratitude for the team at next health nashville and my sweet nurse, who i adore beyond words. 🤍 healing feels safer when you’re in loving hands. about the treatments from scott crosbie, next health area developer for nashville & charlotte: Therapeutic Plasma Exchange, also known as TPE or plasmapheresis (“plasma-fur-ee-sis”), is a medical treatment that removes the liquid portion of blood, known as plasma, which contains proteins, antibodies, toxins, inflammatory agents, and other substances, and replaces it with fresh albumin. The idea behind TPE is to remove harmful substances or antibodies that might be in a patient's plasma, such as toxins, autoimmune antibodies, or other harmful proteins. By removing these substances, the body can have a chance to recover or respond better to other treatments. Think of it like an “oil change for your body.”
