It Is The Season Of Giving, And Walker Hayes Decided To Spread Some Cheer

The “Fancy Like” singer Walker Hayes partnered with a social media influencer known as the “serial tipper” to brighten the holidays of some Waffle House employees.

Lexy Burke is a social media influencer based in Nashville. In her bio, she describes herself as an entrepreneur and new mom.

Burke started her tipping movement in 2020 to support food service workers during the pandemic. As a former server herself, she understood the weight that a generous tip could have.

She collects money donated by her followers and then blesses someone. You can see her giving the massive tips away on her Instagram.

This time, she partnered with the country music star Walker Hayes.

The Duo Bless Waffle House Employees

The whole ordeal was incredibly wholesome. It started with Burke introducing Hayes to her audience and asking him, “Are you ready to tip?”

Hayes responded, “Let’s big tip these people,” excitedly.

The video continues with one of the employees playing Hayes’s hit song, “Fancy Like Christmas,” over the Jukebox. Watch the video for the song below.

Hayes then ordered a secret menu item named after himself. He said, “I’m trying to get this item on the menu. It’s called the Waffle Hayes. It’s basically a waffle but with two eggs over-easy, bacon, and cheese in it, folded like a taco.”

The waitress said, “We have customers come in and get that.”

After they finished eating and chatting, Burke took the time to tell the staff what she does on her social media and told them that she would be giving them each $400, totaling $1200, as a tip.

Hayes is seen excitedly cheering on the moment, and once the employees’ shock had worn off, they asked if they could give them a hug.

Both Burke and Hayes walked around the counter and hugged all the employees in the sweet moment.

Hayes seemed like a kid in the candy shop throughout the whole experience.
