Team Snoop Competes In The Knockouts On Season 26 Of The Voice
The Voice resumed on Monday (November 18), and the episode featured an energized cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Parachute” from Georgia Starnes.
November 18 was the last night of the Season 26 knockouts. Team Snoop’s Aliyah Khaylyn, Georgia Starnes, and Mary McAvoy faced off in their knockout round.
Aliyah covered Halle Bailey’s “Angel,” while Mary performed her rendition of Radiohead’s “High and Dry.” As mentioned previously, Georgia chose to cover Chris Stapleton’s “Parachute.”

Stapleton released “Parachute” in 2016 as the third single from his first solo album, Traveller. The track peaked at the 12th spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and the 17th spot on the Country Airplay chart.
Parachute has since been certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA.
Georgia Starnes Brings Serious Energy To Chris Stapleton’s “Parachute” – Did She Earn A Spot In The Playoffs?
The Voice didn’t show Aliyah, Georgia, and Mary’s full knockout performances. The official YouTube video for their knockout also includes shortened performance clips.
Although we didn’t get the chance to witness Starnes’ complete cover of “Parachute,” the footage we do have shows how she brought some serious energy to her performance.
That’s a sentiment Snoop Dogg expressed when offering his commentary after Starnes sang. He said:
“Chris Stapleton, you did him justice right there. To be able to sing a male song and sing it with the energy and the velocity that he sings it with—and then you put your two-step on it. Go girl!“

But at the end of the knockout, Snoop chose Aliyah as the winner, advancing her to the playoffs. Mary and Georgia’s Voice journeys came to an end, and they were sent home.
Still, both performers should feel proud knowing they gave their knockout performances their all!
