Tim Tebow And Wife Demi-Leigh Welcomed A Baby Girl On July 6 – Meet Their Daughter Daphne Reign
Tim and Demi-Leigh Tebow are soaking in every sweet second with their baby girl, Daphne.
The Tebows announced their pregnancy in January. Tim, a former NFL star, and Demi-Leigh, 2017’s Miss Universe, were later overjoyed to announce they were expecting a daughter.
Demi-Leigh gave birth on July 6, just a few days after celebrating her own birthday on June 28. She and Tim waited until the next day (July 7) to share the news of their daughter’s arrival.
“Our daughter is here! We couldn’t be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life. We’re so grateful to the whole medical team that assisted us in the best way possible during my labor and delivery. From our doctor to our nurses and all the hospital staff — we are so grateful and thankful for you.”

Tim and Demi-Leigh revealed their daughter’s name in a second post. They named her Daphne Reign in honor of Demi-Leigh’s beloved Aunt Daphne.
“I never got to meet my mom’s mother, but her sister, Daphne, stepped in as a grandma figure to me. She was so special to my mom and I — a tiny, kind and strong South African woman who always had shortbread in the house, was the epitome of grit and grace, loved Jesus, had the voice of an angel and made everyone feel seen and special,” Demi-Leigh recalled.
Demi-Leigh always knew if she had a daughter, she wanted to name her Daphne. Tim loved the name too, so that made it easy for them to choose.
As for Daphne’s middle name, Reign, Demi-Leigh said it means multiple things to her and Tim:
“It’s inspired by a precious little girl Tim and I have loved deeply for years. Her story has shaped our hearts in ways I can’t even begin to explain. But more than anything, her name reminds us that when you’re adopted into God’s family, you become a child of the King. You were made to rule and reign—not in power, but in purpose, love, and identity.”

The Tebows Share Sweet Video Highlighting Their First Two Weeks Of Parenthood
Fans of the Tebows have loved all of the posts they’ve shared about baby Daphne. On July 21, Demi-Leigh posted a tender video highlighting her and Tim’s first two weeks with their little girl.
The video contains clips of Demi-Leigh and Tim in the hospital as they look lovingly at their daughter. Demi-Leigh set the compilation to the tune of “These Are the Days” by Christian artist Cory Asbury.
“2 weeks with our girl, and every little moment reminds me of God’s perfect love and faithfulness,” Demi-Leigh wrote in the caption.

The video also offers a glimpse into the Tebows’ lives at home as they care for Daphne in her sweet and serene nursery.
Demi-Leigh, who’s from South Africa, felt it was important to honor her heritage in her daughter’s room. The nursery has a subtle safari theme, including a custom wallpaper with hot air balloons, giraffes, zebras, and elephants.
“When dreaming up our baby girl’s nursery, I knew I wanted to incorporate safari animals as a nod to my home country, South Africa,” Demi-Leigh wrote in a previous post on Instagram.
She added, “I can’t wait to keep sharing my roots with our daughter. [It] will be one of my greatest joys!”
