Thomas Rhett is celebrating another No. 1 hit song, and this time, his MawMaw is right there by his side, sharing the moment.
“Mawmaw’s House” Goes No. 1
Country music star Thomas Rhett has scored another big win with his latest hit, “Mawmaw’s House (feat. Morgan Wallen),” reaching the No. 1 spot on the Country Airplay charts. This success adds to his already impressive record of 20 chart-topping hits in just ten years.
Reflecting on his success, Rhett expressed his gratitude towards the people who take the time to listen, noting the special connection fans have with his music.
“For me, each No. 1 is incredibly special, but to have 20 on the Billboard chart is really mind-blowing,” Rhett says. “It means that fans are connecting with the music we make, and that is a feeling that never goes old. It means the world to me.”
“Mamaw’s House” has undoubtedly captured the hearts of many fans, quickly becoming a beloved favorite. Despite being kept under wraps for over three years, this hidden gem finally made its debut in the Fall of last year. Written by Thomas Rhett and Morgan Wallen in early August 2020, the creation of this track traces back to an interrupted Zoom call between the two artists. As they collaborated, Wallen’s grandmother unexpectedly called him, sparking inspiration for the song.
