The superstar singer-songwriter and the Super Bowl champion started dating in 2023. In July of that year, Travis attended Swift’s Eras Tour show at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, the team he plays for in the NFL.
During the Eras Tour, Taylor’s fans often exchanged friendship bracelets with each other. Travis intended to give Taylor a bracelet with his phone number at the Arrowhead show, but they didn’t get the chance to meet.

Taylor Attends Her First Chiefs Game
The first photo in the timeline of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship doesn’t include Travis at all! On September 24, 2023, Taylor attended her first Chiefs game amid rumors that she and Travis were together. They hadn’t confirmed their relationship yet, but this appearance pretty much did the job.
Taylor watched the game from a suite with Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce. Later, in an interview with Time Magazine, Taylor said that she and Travis were already dating by the time she showed up to watch him play against the Chicago Bears.
“By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple,” she said. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
Celebrating The AFC Championship Win
Taylor and Travis continued to make headlines throughout the 2023-2024 NFL season. One of their most romantic moments came when Taylor joined her boyfriend on the field after the Chiefs won the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens on January 28, 2024.

On August 26, 2025, Taylor and Travis announced they were engaged after two years of dating. The couple shared the news alongside a series of photos from the dreamy proposal.
