Shay Mooney of the country duo Dan + Shay announces news of a baby on the way
Shay Mooney, one-half of ACM Duo of the Year Dan + Shay, is expecting his fourth child with his wife, Hannah Billingsley. The pair got married in 2017 and, since then, have welcomed three beautiful sons: Asher James (7), Ames Alexander (4), and Abram Shay (1).
They announced the happy news on July 29 with an adorable home video set to “Million Little Miracles” by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music. The ballad goes:
“Count your miracles, 1, 2, 3, 4…”
As each number is said, the boys join their parents one by one on the couch in their home. Finally, Hannah lifts up a pregnancy test, revealing that baby number four is on the way. The joy is visible on all of their faces as they celebrate their newest miracle.

Ames Alexander joins his dad on stage during a recent Nashville show
Dan + Shay took over Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on March 23. During the show, Shay told the crowd that his middle son, Ames, had asked to join him on stage. He added that the last time the pair played in Nashville, Ames had just been born, so this was his first time ever attending a Dan + Shay show.
Ames ran onto the stage and into his dad’s arms. He dressed on theme for the country concert, wearing a cowboy hat and boots. Shay asked his son:
“Ames, is there anything you would like to say to Nashville?”
Ames, in typical four-year-old fashion, responded, “Poo, poo.” The crowd erupted in laughter.
