In a new report from Nashville Business Journal, Shania Twain is set to be the next celebrity to open a bar in Downtown Nashville.
“Multiple sources” have confirmed to Nashville Business Journal that country-pop legend Shania Twain will be joining the seemingly endless list of celebrities who own bars in Downtown Nashville.
According to NBJ, Twain has partnered with Nashville Underground, a venue that has been in open since 2018. Nashville Underground is owned by singer Gavin DeGraw and his brother, Joey DeGraw, and they will both be involved in this new Shania Twain partnership.
Currently, Nashville Underground is a six-story, 55-000-square-foot restaurant, bar, and event space that boasts the “largest capacity of any single facility on historic Broadway.”
The bar has a newly-opened third story, which has bowling lanes, arcade games, and TVs. It also has the “highest and largest double deck rooftop.”
Nashville Underground is located at 105 Broadway and sits between Whiskey River Saloon and Acme Feed & Seed, just one block from the Cumberland River and just a three-minute walk to the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Neither the DeGraw brothers of Twain responded to NBJ’s request for comment.
Shania Twain will become the latest celebrity who owns a bar in Nashville.
Just in the last year, she will be the seventh celebrity to open a bar on Broadway behind Riley Green, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Garth Brooks, Eric Church, and Jon Bon Jovi.
