We might see a few famous guest appearances on Reba’s new sitcom, Happy’s Place.

Reba McEntire has a busy schedule as she prepares for two NBC shows this fall.

She will return as a coach on The Voice for the third consecutive year, while simultaneously filming her new sitcom, Happy’s Place. Fortunately, both shows are filming on the same studio lot, which should make it easier for the country star to manage. This setup may also open the door for potential guest stars on her new show.

Happy’s Place will premiere on October 18, marking Reba’s return to starring in a sitcom after nearly 20 years since Reba aired. Reba alum Melissa Peterman, who played Barbra Jean Hart, will be joining her, along with former crew members and producers from the previous show.

Just before the premiere of Happy’s Place, Reba will return to the iconic red chairs of The Voice for Season 26 on September 23, alongside newcomers Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé. Gwen Stefani will also be returning as a judge after coaching in previous seasons. With both productions overlapping, Reba has hinted that it’s possible the panel of coaches could make an appearance on her new show.

During an interview with TV Insider at the TCA 2024 summer press tour, Reba discussed whether her Voice co-stars would ever make a cameo on Happy’s Place.

“In a skinny minute, yes!” the country star said. “Snoop wants to be on the show. Michael Bublé wants to be on the show. Gwen will just come visit, she didn’t say she wanted to be on the show.”

And although her schedule is jam packed, Reba says that juggling the two shows is “a piece of cake.”

“It’s so much better than two years ago when I was doing Big Sky in Albuquerque for ABC, and then flying to the east coast for concerts on the weekend,” she said.

“You just have to walk across the alley,” Peterman added, who plays her best friend and bartender Gabby on the sitcom. “The two stages are next to each other.”

We’re glad the scheduling for both shows will work out, because we can’t wait for a double dose of Reba this fall!
