Donald Trump Jr. Is Engaged To Bettina Anderson
At a private Christmas reception at the White House on Monday, Dec. 15, President Donald Trump made a very special announcement.
No, it wasn’t about the economy — or any policy, for that matter.
Rather, it was to announce the engagement of his eldest child, Donald Trump Jr.
Taking the microphone with his fiancée, Bettina Anderson, at his side, video captured by conservative journalist Laura Loomer showed Donald Trump Jr. say, “Not often that I’m at a loss for words because I’m usually doing the ranting and raving really well.”
Wishing everyone in attendance a merry Christmas, Don Jr. then turned to Bettina and said, “I want to thank Bettina for that one word: ‘Yes.'”
Don Jr. went on to describe her acceptance of his marriage proposal as “a big win for the end of the year.”
Passing the mic to Bettina, she then thanked her future father-in-law, President Trump, for hosting them at the White House and praised the Christmas decorations arranged by First Lady Melania Trump.
“This has been the most unforgettable weekend,” said Bettina. “I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you.”
For Don Jr., who is 47, this will be his second marriage, having divorced Vanessa Trump in 2018. Together, Don Jr. and Vanessa have two children, Kai Trump and Donald Trump III.
In 2020, Don Jr. was engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle, but that relationship never materialized into a marriage.
On Instagram, model Bettina Anderson describes herself, writing, “I’m just your typical stay at home mom…only I don’t do household chores…or have a husband…or have kids..”

Will Donald Trump Jr. And Bettina Anderson Get Married At The White House?
Wedding plans have not yet been announced for Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson, but if they get married before January of 2029, when President Trump’s term as 47th president will end, the White House will certainly be a potential venue.
The last time a wedding was held at the White House was in 2022, when Naomi Biden, granddaughter to President Joe Biden, married Peter Neal on the South Lawn.
Weddings have been held at the White House since 1812, when the sister to First Lady Dolley Madison, Lucy Payne Washington, married Supreme Court Associate Justice Thomas Todd.
Since then, many relatives of presidents have been married in the White House, including Nellie Grant, the daughter of President Ulysses S. Grant; Tricia Nixon, the daughter of President Richard Nixon; and Anthony Rodham, the brother to First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Notably, only one president has ever been married at the White House, and that was President Grover Cleveland in 1886. He was inaugurated as only the second bachelor president, and was married the next year to Frances Cleveland at a ceremony in the Blue Room.
