Former Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson shared an update on his family after Hurricane Delta ripped through Louisiana over the weekend. The hurricane made landfall near Creole, Louisiana on Friday evening, just six weeks after Hurricane Laura hit the same region. The power was knocked out for thousands of residents, but Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said no deaths were reported.
Robertson gave fans an update to let everyone know he and his family are doing well.
“After another devastating hurricane, many are without homes, transportation, and basic necessities such as power. This shows us more than ever that this is just a temporary home. Stay confident in His word, continue praying, and rejoice always. We are all okay, but please continue to pray for Louisiana.”
Robertson included a photo of him standing over a fallen tree with a chainsaw, ready to clear it from the area.

Delta was forecast to be a Category 3 hurricane but weakened to a Category 2 storm before reaching land. The winds were still strong, reaching up to 100 mph when it hit Creole and Lake Charles. Almost a foot and a half of rain fell over southwestern Lousiana in less than 12 hours on Friday, October 9, 2020, into Saturday, October 10, 2020.
Earlier this year, the Robertsons were hit hard by a good number of storms and tornadoes that destroyed their town. While many homes and buildings were demolished, and billions of dollars of damage occurred, miraculously there were no fatalities. Read more about the story here.
