LeAnn Rimes is sharing her wellness journey with fans.

On Thursday, January 15, Rimes posted a video on her Instagram taking fans along to an appointment at Next Health in Nashville. During her visit, the “Blue” singer underwent a Therapeutic Plasma Exchange.

“Listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming and touring,” she wrote in the post’s caption. “I demand so much from my body and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it i possibly can.”

According to the health center’s website, the treatment removes plasma from the patient’s blood “to eliminate inflammatory proteins, toxins, and cellular waste, then replace it with sterile albumin to replenish essential nutrients.” This is said to support “longevity, immune resilience, and overall cellular health by optimizing the body’s internal environment.”

The clip shows Rimes arriving and getting her blood pressure checked. She then begins the process with IVs placed in both arms.

Halfway through the treatment, she holds up a large plastic bag filled with yellow liquid that was removed from her body.

Rimes shared that this was her second plasma exchange to “help clear micro-tons, such as mold and microplastics.” This time, though, she also included stem cells to help “support overall repair.”

So, how much does such an advanced treatment like this cost? Well, it will set you back $10,000.

Rimes did make it clear that she knows this isn’t something most people can afford, and she isn’t trying to make it seem that way. Instead, she simply wanted to tell fans what she’s been doing for her own well-being.

“I’m very aware that access to treatments like this isn’t universal. i share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what’s been working for me.”

Rimes isn’t the only country music star who has ever dabbled in plasma exchange. During a recent appearance on Rob Lowe’s Literally! podcast, Kenny Chesney also revealed that he has included the treatment into his health routine.

“I do plasma exchange. Have you ever done a plasma exchange? It’s really intense,” he shared with Lowe. “But you feel fantastic. It’s really great for you.”

LeAnn Rimes Underwent The $10,000 Treatment Just Months After Her Teeth Fell Out During A Concert

In June of last year, Rimes was performing at a concert in Washington when something unexpected happened.

While singing her song “One Way Ticket,” the Grammy-winning artist’s front teeth suddenly fell out. Later, she posted a story-time video explaining exactly what happened.

“This is the most epic example of how the show must go on,” Rimes said.

She went on to say that while she was singing, she felt a “pop” in her mouth.

“If you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front,” she said. “It fell out in the middle of my song.”

At first, she panicked and stepped to the side of the stage. Rimes managed to put her teeth back in and continued with her performance.

And even though this could’ve been incredibly embarrassing (keep in mind, thousands of fans are watching her onstage), Rimes ended up laughing it off.

“It was the most epic experience ever. I don’t usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last.”
