Lauren Alaina Welcomes First Child, Beni Doll Arnold

Lauren Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold, welcomed a beautiful baby girl on June 11, 2025. Beni Doll Arnold was born at 8:44 am, weighing 7 lbs 13 oz and measuring 19 inches long. Along with the birth announcement, Lauren wrote:

“I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents.”

Beni Doll got her name from two important people in her family. Lauren chose the name Beni to honor her grandfather, Benny, whom she says, “helped raise me, taught me how to play basketball. He bought me my first karaoke machine… he was very proud of that.”

Cam chose the middle name “Doll” for his late aunt, Lucy Doll. She never had kids, and the gesture is a “little nod” to keep her in the family.

Lauren Alaina Shares A Tour Of Beni Doll’s Nursery

In a two-part video series posted online, the “Road Less Traveled” singer gave an inside look at the sweet cowgirl-themed nursery she created for her daughter. Natural light floods the room, which features many personal mementos and family heirlooms to make it special.

Lauren first shows off a set of dressers, which were purchased by her grandmother when she was pregnant with Lauren’s mother and have now been passed down for three generations.

Other sweet details include a dream catcher from her stepdad, Sam, artwork by her mother-in-law, Wendy, her great-grandmother’s banjos, and more. Lauren shares:

“This room was so much fun to put together and it’s literally my favorite room in the house.”

Additionally, the American Idol alum tells how strongly she wanted a wooden crib. After purchasing the one that now stands in the nursery, her mother told her that it is almost identical to the one she slept in as a baby.

Lauren laughs when she reveals that the room was previously their house’s “man cave.”

“We’ve taken away the man cave and made it the nursery.”

One particularly special feature of the nursery is a wooden box gifted to the singer from the Grand Ole Opry. It is signed by dozens of Opry members and is now filled with stuffed animals from Lauren and Cam’s loved ones.
