Lainey Wilson Wins Best Country Album
Lainey Wilson’s boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, is thrilled she just won her first Grammy!
In case you missed it, Wilson took home the award for Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 4). She won for Bell Bottom Country, her hit album which contains tracks such as “Watermelon Moonshine,” “Heart Like a Truck,” and “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”
Wilson delivered a grateful acceptance speech after winning the award. She linked her musical journey back to her experience growing up as a farmer’s daughter.
“It’s about getting up every single day and planting those seeds and watering them and watching them grow,” she said. “And sometimes when you find the right farming community, you can have a harvest of a lifetime and I truly believe that. I think that’s exactly what this is tonight.”
Wilson shared her continued appreciation in a social media post later that evening. She said:
“Best Country Album. As someone whose whole career is based off of putting my feelings into words, it’s few and far between that I’m left speechless. All I can say right now is thank you, thank you, thank you.“

Devlin “Duck” Hodges Celebrates Girlfriend Lainey Wilson’s Grammy Win
One person cheering for Lainey Wilson after her Grammy win is her boyfriend, Devlin “Duck” Hodges. The couple has been dating for years, but just made their public debut at the ACM Awards in May 2023.
Hodges previously played as the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He earned the nickname “Duck” while playing football at Samford University from 2014-2019. Reason being? He’s a champion duck caller!

Hodges played into his nickname when celebrating Wilson’s big win at the Grammys. He gushed about her achievement in several slides on his Instagram Story.
