Wilson and Hodges have been together since 2021 but kept their romance private for quite some time before sharing that they were together.
It wasn’t until 2023 that they made their public debut by walking the red carpet hand-in-hand at the ACM Awards.
Years later, their relationship is stronger than ever. Back in February, they announced that they were engaged with a sweet set of photos from the special moment.
Hodges ended up proposing on the front porch of George Jones’ former Tennessee home.

Lainey Wilson Shares The Secret Of How She Keeps Her Relationship Going Strong
In a recent interview with People, Wilson shared the number one thing she and Hodges prioritize to keep their relationship thriving.
According to the “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer, the most important part of making it work is simply setting aside time for each other.
As a country superstar, Wilson is constantly on the road going from city to city for shows. Meanwhile, Hodges has built a successful real estate career since retiring from the NFL in 2022.
Still, no matter how busy life gets, they always make sure to have quality time.
“You have to definitely carve out the time,” Wilson said. “It has to be something that you’re very aware of, and you’re like, ‘Okay, I’ve got a day off here in 10 days. I’ve got to dedicate that day to spend time with my person.”
“And we both need that and deserve that,” she continued. “And it’s always great. We just try to soak up those moments as best as we possibly can.”
Thankfully, Hodges understands the challenges that come with Wilson’s hectic life as a performer. She even says he’s her “biggest cheerleader,” supporting her no matter what.
“We don’t get to see each other all the time, and I do live a lot of my life on the road, so we’re also kind of figuring it out as we go, which is fun.” she said.
That said, the couple isn’t in a hurry to tie the knot, either. In a conversation with Country Living, Wilson shared that although they’re excited to get married, they are taking their time with the planning.
She explained that they want everything to be perfect when the day comes.
“We hadn’t really covered any ground on it just yet, but we’re taking our time and it’s gonna be right and it’s gonna be beautiful and, you know, what it’s supposed to be about.”
