Jelly Roll has proven time and time again that he has a heart of gold.
The singer spent some time in Utah in the days before the kick-off of his first arena tour when he encountered three kids selling lemonade on the side of the road.
Jelly Roll is starting his Beautifully Broken Tour on Tuesday (August 27) at Salt Lake City’s Delta Center.
He has nearly 40 shows over the next two months, wrapping up the tour on October 27 at the Spectrum center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On Sunday (August 25), a mom from West Valley City, Utah shared on Facebook that Jelly Roll stopped by her daughter’s lemonade stand that she was running with her cousins.
“So today was an interesting day,” Wendy Gardunio wrote on her Facebook alongside three photos. “My kid and her cousins wanted to do a lemonade stand. And they had a famous singer come and buy some lemonade. Who would have thought that we would run into jelly roll in west valley [sic].”
Wendy revealed that Jelly was was “so generous” to her child and niece and nephew, and even gave them a nearly $700 donation!
The photos did not show him holding a lemonade, so he may not have even bought one!
Jelly Roll is no stranger to these incredible acts of kindness.
Just a few days ago, in an effort to help push his upcoming album, Beautifully Broken, to hitting #1, he announced that if fans buy a physical CD or vinyl copy of the album, he will donate all the proceeds to charity.
His album comes out October 11 and he is begging fans to help him have his first-ever #1 album, and in turn, he will not even profit off of it.
