The Hardy family is growing! Singer/songwriter Michael Hardy, known as HARDY, and his wife Caleigh are expecting their first child. The couple shared the exciting news with a series of sweet photos highlighting the ultrasound photos and Caleigh’s growing baby bump.
Along with the announcement, they wrote:
“You have been our favorite little secret to keep 🍼 🙏🏻”

HARDY and Caleigh Ryan’s love story
HARDY and Caleigh initially connected on social media in 2018 and met in person for the first time at the Lyric Theater in Oxford, Mississippi. The pair reportedly hit it off immediately. Caleigh recalled:
“Once we met each other, there really was no one else. We never entertained anyone else. It was just so easy.”
Similarly, HARDY shared:
“I loved her after the third time that we ever hung out. It was the realest thing I had ever experienced.”

Three years later, HARDY took his future bride back to the place they met to propose in August 2021. The beautiful couple tied the knot in October 2022 at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville, Tennessee.

HARDY dedicates his emotional song “Six Feet Under” to his wife
HARDY is not afraid to share his love for his wife publicly. His emotional song “Six Feet Under” is dedicated to Caleigh and was released on his album Quit!! in July 2024.
Just a few weeks before the couple exchanged vows, HARDY was involved in a serious bus accident that left him and all of his band members with “significant injuries.” Ultimately, it was that terrifying experience that inspired the songwriter to pen the heartfelt lyrics to “Six Feet Under.”
