Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Announced As Performers At The 2024 ACM Awards
Gwen Stefani will join her husband, Blake Shelton, for a performance at the 2024 ACM Awards.
On Tuesday (May 7), the ACM added the couple to its all-star lineup of performers for the upcoming awards ceremony. They’ll join the likes of previously announced performers, including Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and the show’s host, Reba McEntire.

The ACM didn’t share which song Blake and Gwen plan to perform. But it seems right to assume they’ll sing their new duet, “Purple Irises.”
Blake and Gwen released “Purple Irises” in February. The romantic tune is the couple’s sixth song together. Two of their previous duets have reached #1 on the country chart: “Nobody but You” and “Happy Anywhere.”
While the couple has quite the catalog of collaborations by now, Blake doubts they’ll ever release a full duets album. But he can envision releasing a “hits package” in a few years if they keep making songs together.
Gwen Performed On The ACM’s Ceremony Once Before, But Virtually
The couple’s upcoming ACM Awards performance is notable for multiple reasons. For starters, it’s Blake’s first time performing at the ceremony after a three-year hiatus.
Secondly, the performance marks Gwen’s first time performing at the ACM Awards in person. She previously sang “Happy Anywhere” with Blake on the 2020 ACM Awards. But their performance was done virtually because of the pandemic.
Gwen has attended the ACM Awards before, as Blake’s date in 2018 and 2019. But she didn’t perform those years!
Needless to say, fans are excited to watch Gwen sing on the ACM Awards’ stage for the first time. Some of the reactions to the news of her and Blake’s upcoming performance were:
