The Duck Dynasty Family Is Growing – Reed And Brighton Robertson Share Pregnancy News On The Unashamed Podcast
Another baby is joining Reed and Brighton Robertson’s beautiful family!
Duck Dynasty star Reed Robertson is the oldest of Jase and Missy Robertson’s three children. He and Brighton were high school sweethearts, and they married in 2016.
Five years later, they welcomed their first child, Merris Carroway. Merris (age three) is now a big sister to David Silas (age two) and Frances Claudia (13 months).
Despite being with Reed for years, Brighton had never appeared on one of the Robertson family podcasts. That all changed after she and Reed appeared on the September 24th episode of the Unashamed podcast, hosted by Reed’s father, Jase, and Uncle Al. They were also joined by Zach Dasher, the nephew of Reed’s late grandfather, Phil Robertson.
Early in the podcast, Reed and Brighton Robertson announced some “breaking news” about their family…they’re expecting Baby #4!
Brighton shared the happy news while listing off the ages of their three children, adding, “...and then I’m pregnant with our fourth.” She said she is 11 weeks along, so based on the math, we’d guess she’s due sometime in April.
“Yeah, so we’re just rolling,” she said with a smile.
Before the pregnancy reveal, Jase gushed about his daughter-in-law and how good she’s been for Reed. He said Reed, “just became a better human being” after he started dating Brighton, which Reed agreed with.
As the conversation continued, Brighton revealed just how strong she truly is. She opened up about losing her young niece and nephew in 2023 after they were killed in a car accident.
She said losing her niece, Bryn, and nephew, Harrison, “just totally rocked our world.”

Several Other Duck Dynasty Couples Have Recently Announced Pregnancies Or Welcomed Babies
Reed and Brighton aren’t the only Robertsons who recently announced a pregnancy. Reed’s cousins Merritt and Priscilla are both expecting their first children.
Merritt and Priscilla are the daughters of Jep and Jessica Robertson. They are both expecting baby girls, and they’re due in December and October, respectively

Reed’s cousin, Sadie, had her third child with her husband, Christian Huff, in August. They welcomed a baby girl, whom they named Kit Carroway Huff.
You’ll notice that Kit and Merris share the same middle name. “Carroway” is the maiden name of Reed and Sadie’s grandma, Miss Kay. Sadie’s middle name is also Carroway, and she wanted to pass it on to her youngest daughter.
This led to a hilarious conversation between Sadie and Kay. When Sadie told her she was naming Kit in her honor, Kay responded, “Oh my gosh! No one has ever done that for me before!‘”
Sadie found that funny, since before Kit was born, Kay already had one granddaughter (Sadie herself!) and one great-granddaughter named after her. Listen to Sadie’s sister, Bella, tell that story below.
