Reed & Brighton Robertson Of Duck Dynasty Just Had Another Baby
Another adorable baby has joined the Duck Dynasty family!
Reed Robertson is the eldest of Jase and Missy Robertson’s three children. He married his high school sweetheart, Brighton, in 2016.
The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Merris Carroway, on November 24, 2021. Son David Silas was born on January 20, 2023, and another daughter, Frances Claudia, arrived on August 11, 2024.
Then, in September 2025, Reed and Brighton announced on their family’s Unashamed podcast that they were expecting their fourth child. They didn’t reveal the baby’s gender or exact due date, but did share that Brighton was 11 weeks along at the time.
“Yeah, so we’re just rolling,” Brighton said with a smile after she and Reed shared the happy news.

Missy Robertson Gushes About Her New Grandbaby
Reed and Brighton’s baby finally arrived on April 1, 2026. And no, that’s not an April Fools‘ joke!
Since neither Reed nor Brighton is incredibly active on social media, the news about the new Duck Dynasty baby’s birth came from Reed’s mama, Missy. She also shared the first photos of her new grandbaby and revealed their name!
For starters…it’s a boy! And he has the most lovable name…George Harvey Robertson.
It’s worth noting that country music legend George Strait‘s full name is George Harvey Strait. It’s unclear if Reed and Brighton named their youngest child after “The King of Country,” or if it was just a happy coincidence!
“Celebration of New Life! A weekend FULL of celebrating Baby George’s arrival, spending time together and praising Jesus for His incomparable love for us. Welcome to the chaos, little one…” Missy wrote alongside a slideshow of photos from the past week, including their Easter celebrations. “You are so loved!“
Missy’s slideshow contains several precious pictures of baby George with his family. If you scroll to photo #10, you’ll see the first picture of Reed and Brighton with all four of their children in the hospital!
The last picture in the slideshow depicts a chalkboard with George’s full name, his birthdate and time, and his weight and length. He weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz, and was 20 inches long.
