Carrie Underwood Celebrates As Her Youngest Son, Jacob, Turns Five Years Old
Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, welcomed their second child on January 21, 2019. They had a baby boy, and named him Jacob Bryan.
Jacob’s arrival came after Carrie previously suffered three miscarriages in less than two years. She told PEOPLE at the time:
“Of course you wonder if it’s you, what am I doing wrong, or what have I done wrong. I remember having conversations with [Mike] trying to make sense of it all.”
When Jacob was born, Carrie was quick to call him their “little miracle.”
“Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…” she said.

Carrie And Mike Rarely Share Pictures Of Their Sons
Carrie and Mike rarely post photos of Jacob and his big brother, Isaiah. When they do share pictures of the boys, they usually don’t show their faces.
We have seen a few photos Isaiah and Jacob over the years, especially on holidays or birthdays. For example, Mike shared some sweet pictures of Carrie with their sons to celebrate Mother’s Day in 2022.
More recently, Carrie shared some even-more-rare videos of Jacob to celebrate his fifth birthday.
Jacob Fisher Went On A Fun “Night Skate” For His Fifth Birthday
Carrie started off her post by sharing a photo of Jacob’s Dude Perfect-themed cake. For those who don’t know, Dude Perfect is a YouTube channel known for their sports-themed trick shots and “stereotypes” skits.
Jacob’s big brother, Isaiah, actually had a Dude Perfect cake for his own birthday last year. Clearly, both boys are big fans of the channel!
Going along with the sports theme, Jacob spent his fifth birthday going for a “night skate.” Carrie said their pond froze over, resulting in the “perfect condition” for some skating and a game of hockey. It seems Jacob is following in Mike’s footsteps, since Mike played in the NHL for 19 years.
Carrie shared some rare photos AND videos of Jacob skating on the ice. In one clip, she comes up to him and asks, “Jakey, did you have a good birthday?” He responds with an enthusiastic “yes!”
