When news of Toby Keith’s tragic passing was announced in February, many artists shared tributes to the legendary musician. Carrie Underwood shared a series of photos with her friend and fellow “Okie,” and wrote:

“Saddle up the horses, Jesus, ‘cause a true blue COWBOY just made his ride up to heaven!!! Introduce him to all the Okies and sign that boy up for the choir! We’re gonna miss you, Toby, but my heart has no doubt that you are standing in the presence of our King right now!!! See you again someday, friend.”

Carrie Underwood honors Toby Keith with a rendition of “A Little Less Talk And A Lot More Action.”

Carrie Underwood paid homage to the late country music icon by performing “A Little Less Talk And A Lot More Action,” one of his most memorable songs. The song was released in 1993 as the third single from Toby’s self-titled debut album and went on to reach #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

Carrie took the stage in a sparkling black dress trimmed in fringe and silver boots to perform the sassy tune. She brought plenty of energy to the Toby classic as his family watched from side stage.
