Kane Brown, the chart-topping star and devoted father to two young daughters, Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his baby boy later this year.
Despite being known as the ultimate “girl dad,” Kane is thrilled about the new experiences he will share with his son.
In a recent interview with Country Now, Kane candidly shared that he is looking forward to the prospect of experiencing everything that comes with a father-son relationship.
He revealed his anticipation for introducing his son to sports, particularly baseball, a sport he has been passionate about since childhood.
“I played baseball since I was three, so I would love for him to, and if he doesn’t want to, he doesn’t have to, but I would just love to have baseball,” the “Bury Me In Georgia” singer shared.
Despite not planning to push his son into any specific activity, Kane hopes to be a coach for his son’s team.
“All my friends back home, they are coaches of their son’s baseball team, and they’re all about the same age, so they get to compete against each other, and that’s what we used to do back in the day. So I would love to be able to do that.”
During the interview, Kane also discussed his daughter’s reaction to his mom’s pregnancy.
Kane mentioned that Kingsley is beginning to understand more about the arrival of their baby brother.
“Kodi? Not yet, but yeah, Kingsley’s, like…The other day, she said, ‘Kodi, I was in mommy’s belly, and then you were in mommy’s belly, and then now our baby brother is and mommy’s belly.’ So it’s just cool to hear her talk about it.”
Kane and Katelyn Brown shared that they were expecting their third child in a social media post back in December.
The post featured a heartwarming photograph of the family, with Kingsley holding up a sonogram image of her soon-to-arrive baby sibling.

The delightful news comes with a bittersweet undertone as Kane disclosed on The Bobby Bones Show that he underwent a vasectomy in February.
