Country star Zach Bryan was arrested in Vinita, Oklahoma, Thursday evening.

Zach Bryan has been released on bond after being arrested and booked for misdemeanor “obstruction of investigation” at 6:42 p.m. CST, according to records from the Craig County Sheriff’s Office. It’s unclear what led to the 27-year-old’s arrest, and neither Bryan nor his team have addressed the incident.

Tulsa, Oklahoma, reporter Reagan Ledbetter reported that Bryan was arrested by Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The case will be reviewed by the Craig County District Attorney who will determine if they will file charges.

“This is an arrest, not a conviction,” Ledbetter said

FOX23’s Shae Rozzi reports that she was told by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol that Bryan is “accused of interfering with a traffic stop tonight but did not release any other details.”

Bryan is currently one of the hottest artists in country music following the release of his self-titled album on August 25. The album topped the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and his current sing, a duet with Kacey Musgrave called “I Remember Everything,” is currently the top song in the U.S., marking his first time atop either chart.
