Earlier this year, we found out that Yellowstone is getting a super-sized Season 5 this year. For the past four seasons, the network has ordered 10 episodes, but for Season 5, there will two seven episode arcs, with a total of 14 episode! The first arc will air in the summer while the second arc will air in the fall.

Yellowstone producer David Glasser told Variety in January, “It’s the prime of the show. I think the show is still maturing, and there’s still a lot of story to tell. I know with Taylor, he’s got a lot to say and a lot to write. He’s deep into Season 5 of ‘Yellowstone’ now. He’s got some incredible ideas that he shared that I think audiences are going to be really excited about.”

Variety also reported that Glasser “expects production to resume…in May.”

The cast is getting ready to head to Montana to start filming Season 5…and now they need you! Yellowstone is looking for extras ages nine and up in the Missoula, Montana area who are available between May-December.

Extras will be paid $130 for a 12-hour day, $40 for gas and be fed a meal while they work. Extras will have to follow strict health and safety guidelines, just like the rest of the cast. COVID tests will be provided and paid for by production.

The casting directors have also set up a Facebook page where you can check updates on exactly what they need.
