Willie and Korie Robertson first introduced their youngest son, Rowdy, in January 2016. They didn’t share his name at the time, but they did reveal that he was 13 years old.
Willie and Korie were in the process of adopting Rowdy when they introduced him to their followers. They shared a photo of him along with their other kids: Rebecca, Sadie, Willie Jr., John Luke, and Bella. Their daughter-in-law, Mary Kate (who is married to John Luke), also appeared in the picture.

Rowdy’s adoption was completed on September 13, 2016. Korie shared the happy news along with a photo, saying:
“It’s official!! Today Rowdy officially became a Robertson! So thankful for Godly attorneys and judges that made the day extra special. We told stories of the past year, we laughed, we cried, we hugged, we swore to love Rowdy forever and ever.“
Rowdy appeared on Duck Dynasty a few times before the show ended in 2017. Fans of the Robertsons have continued to watch him grow up through the posts Willie and Korie share about him on social media.
Like his siblings Bella and Willie Jr., Rowdy graduated from high school in 2020. And just like that, he’s now 20 years old!
Korie shared a celebratory post in honor of Rowdy’s 20th birthday. She said:
“Happy Birthday, Rowdy!! 20!! A whole new decade of life! I’m so excited for what God has for your future. He has great plans for you! You are strong and kind, loyal and generous and so very loved!! I love you and pray that this year is your best yet.”
