Two beloved stars of the Hallmark TV show When Calls The Heart have gotten married!
Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace were both cast in Season Six of the long-running Hallmark series When Calls The Heart.
When Calls The Heart is a western drama centered around the town Hope Valley in the Canadian frontier and follows Elizabeth Thornton, a teacher from the city, as she relocates when she gets a job in Hope Valley. The show was developed by Michael Landon Jr., the son of TV legend Michael Landon.
McGarry and Wallace both joined the cast as Nathan and Fiona, respectively, in Season 6. McGarry has been a main cast member from Season 6, which aired February- April 2019, until Season 11, which aired its last episode in June of 2024. Wallace was a recurring cast member during Seasons 6-10 and a guest star in Season 11.
The two went Instagram official in November 2020 when McGarry posted a few photos of them together with the caption, “Photo evidence.”
Two years later, they announced their engagement on Instagram with a video of them showing off her engagement ring alongside the caption, “Forever.”

Although their When Calls The Heart characters were never romantic, they showed off their chemistry in two Hallmark movies, Feeling Butterflies and My Grown-Up Christmas List. Both movies were released in 2023.
Speaking about working with her other half, Wallace told TV Fanatic, “It’s nice to work so closely with somebody that I know so well and see that the way Kevin works more in detail than just running lines together for auditions or doing the few scenes that we have on ‘When Calls the Heart.’ It was really fun to spend not just one whole movie working together, but two movies working together, where we get to dive into some different characters and play out these storylines.”
Even though they announced their engagement, they did not announce their marriage, but McGarry did confirm it at the When Calls The Heart fan panel at the Hearties Family Reunion event.
The host of the panel mentioned to McGarry, “You’ve got a ring on your finger. I hope it’s not a prop!”
McGarry proudly help up his wedding ring and confirmed it was not a prop, and that he had gotten married, though we don’t know when.

Some eagle-eyed fans believe McGarry and Wallace tied the knot in February, after they posted a photo together, where some fans thought Wallace was wearing a wedding band alongside her engagement ring.
