Robert Irwin Pulls A Prank On His Mom, Terri, By Sporting A Surprising “New Look”
In honor of the New Year, Robert Irwin decided to try out a surprising “new look,” and pranked his mom in the process!
After winning Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars in December, Robert has kept busy filming a new project. When he finally got some time off, he let his beard grow out.
Robert needed to shave once it was time to start filming again. But instead of going clean-shaven, he shaved off everything except his mustache.
Robert made it clear he didn’t plan to rock a mustache forever. Rather, he wanted to “play a little prank” on his mom, Terri, and the film crew by walking in with a whole “new look.”
22-year-old Robert was cracking himself up when he saw what he looked like with a mustache. He laughed as he compared his look to that of Tom Selleck and other mustachioed celebrities.

When it came time to prank his mom, Robert strolled into a dressing room trailer, saying, “I just wanted to try something a little bit different.”
Terri and the crew were clearly shocked by Robert’s new look. They couldn’t stop laughing! “I, as your mother, I’m incredibly proud,” Terri joked.
Much to Robert’s dismay, he couldn’t keep the mustache for long. He needed to shave it off for filming, but it sounds like he may consider keeping it in the future.
However, Terri doesn’t seem to be a fan of the idea. When he asked, “What do you think, Mom, should I keep it?” she said, “Definitely,” while vehemently shaking her head “No.”
