Congratulations are in order for Voice champion Chevel Shepherd and her husband, Junior Garcia, because they’re expecting their first baby!

Chevel and Junior married in June 2024. Chevel shared the happy news of their marriage alongside a pair of stunning wedding photos.

She wrote, “I feel so blessed to get to spend the rest of my life with you baby. I prayed for you, and God gave me everything I could have wished for and more in you. You are the greatest thing to happen to me, and I am honored to be your wife. It’s me and you forever baby, and I’m so happy!

Now, just a little over a year after they said “I do,” Chevel and Junior are preparing to welcome their first child!

The couple posted their pregnancy announcement on September 18. They shared the news in a video that shows them facing forward, dressed in fancy, all-black attire, and holding wine glasses in their outstretched hands.

They set the video to the tune of Michael Bublé’s version of “Feeling Good.” From the front, you can’t tell that Chevel is pregnant. But when the music shifts and she turns to the side, you suddenly see her baby bump!

As Chevel and Junior turned to face each other, people off-camera replaced the wine glasses in their hands with baby bottles. The couple clinked the bottles together in a “cheers” motion before sharing a kiss. They captioned the video, “Baby Garcia arriving 2026.

Chevel shared another post about her pregnancy on September 27, writing, “We haven’t met you yet sweet baby, but we’re so in love with you.See both posts below!
