For over four decades, Vanna White has been a television fixture, turning the letters on the popular game show Wheel of Fortune.
Now, at 68, she has gotten married.
Marrying John Donaldson, shew wrote on her Instagram page, “Surprise! We got married!”
Continuing, she said, “John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony. We’re excited to share this new joyful chapter in our lives with all of you!”

More About Vanna White
While Vanna White is celebrating her marriage to John Donaldson, she has had some significant romances in the past… and even tragedy.
In 1986, her financé, soap opera actor John Gibson, died in a plane crash.
Four years later, in 1990, she married George Santo Pietro, who she had two children with, named Nicholas and Giovanna. Her first pregnancy, however, was a miscarriage that occurred shortly after she announced on the air of Wheel of Fortune that she was expecting.
After divorcing Santo Pietro in 2002, she was engaged to a businessman named Michael Kaye.
That relationship ended in 2006.
As for her relationship with her now husband, John Donaldson, the two met in 2012, and Vanna told People Magazine of the day they met:
“I remember looking at him and thinking, ‘He’s really cute.’ We ended up talking for a long time that night.”
Donaldson is a California-based developer, owning the company JDC Construction + Development Group. The JDC website states, “JDC is noted as one of Southern California’s premier construction companies specializing in the restoration and rehabilitation of Multifamily properties and now the development of new ground up Multifamily projects.”
According to the website, “[Donaldson] says that he finds great satisfaction in being able to help transform old dated buildings and bringing them new life. He adds value to these projects not only through his construction expertise, but through his ability to work closely with architects and others in conceptualizing the creative aspects of the redevelopment.”
