Vanessa continued to reflect on the devastating loss, remarking that she still could not understand why the tragedy happened. Vanessa also admitted that the accident did not seem “real,” even after a year. She wrote:

“I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn’t seem real. Kobe, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you!”

Kobe and Gianna died in a fatal helicopter accident last year. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with their family and friends.
