Tim Tebow, a former NFL player and Heisman Trophy winner, and Demi-Leigh, the 2017 Miss Universe, announced in mid-January that they were expecting their first baby.
The couple, who wed in 2020, shared the news in a video posted to social media with a caption that simply read, “Baby Tebow.” The video showed the couple sharing a kiss as they revealed an ultrasound photo. Demi then showed off her growing belly as they danced and posed for photos.
Following the announcement, Tim and Demi spoke about their growing family in an interview with PEOPLE. They told the outlet, “We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” Demi-Leigh said. Tim added that he’s “honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad.”
Tim and Demi teased a gender reveal on Tuesday, March 4.
The couple took to social media Tuesday afternoon to share a series of black and white photos taken at their gender reveal. They encouraged their followers to guess if they would be having a boy or girl and shared that the official announcement would be made the following day.

“Our greatest blessing. We’ve been praying for her long before we knew her, and we’re beyond grateful that God chose us to be her parents. We can’t wait to meet you, baby girl!” the couple shared.
The couple wanted to create a meaningful piece of art for their daughter’s nursey. They chose two Bible verses, one for a boy and one for a girl. Once they learned they were expecting a daughter, they added Psalm 25:4-5 to their canvas.
“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
