Tim McGraw is a bonafide superstar. He is a country star, as well as an incredible actor, but to three girls, he is just “Dad.”
He and Faith Hill share daughters Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey.
McGraw shared on Instagram recently that his daughters always request his famous beignets for breakfast on their birthdays. Seeing as his youngest daughter, Audrey, just turned 21, we’re sure the process is fresh in his mind. So, he decided to share his recipe with his 3.2 million Instagram followers.
“Growing up a Louisiana boy eating beignets, it’s been part of my DNA since the earliest memories,” he says to the camera.
Then, he shared his secret ingredient: he uses the famous Cafe Du Monde’s own beignet mix! He adds a bit of buttermilk (instead of water), then rolls its out, cuts it into small pieces, and fries it. Once they are perfectly golden brown, he tosses them in a brown paper bag filled with powdered sugar.
