Reba McEntire’s NBC Sitcom Happy’s Place Is Returning For Season 2 On November 7
In July, Reba McEntire and her Happy’s Place co-stars revealed when the show will come back for Season 2 doing the “That’s Not Bad” TikTok trend.
In the video, cast members Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk asked Reba, “How many days until the premiere?” To which Reba McEntire replied, “102 days!”
“Oh, that’s not bad!” the cast replied.
102 days away from the date they made the video puts the Season 2 Premiere on Friday, November 7!
If you don’t remember, McEntire’s sitcom centers around her late dad’s bar, Happy’s Place, and the employees that work there including bartender Gabby (Peterman), cook Emmet (Linn), accountant Steve (Castelblanco), waiter Dakota (Black Elk), owner Bobbie (McEntire), and the half-sister she didn’t know she had, Isabella (Escobedo).
Happy’s Place Has Already Been Known For Its Awesome Guest Stars
During Season One of the sitcom, they brought in several fun guest stars to shake things up and fans loved every minute of it!
As most fans know, McEntire and Peterman spent many years together working on the WB/CW sitcom Reba, so whenever they can get more cast members from the show on Happy’s Place, fans are ecstatic.
In Season One, there were two epic Reba reunions on Happy’s Place.
The first was when Steve Howey, who played Van on Reba, joined the crew for an episode where he played a business owner hoping to have a Christmas party at the bar. During one of his first scenes, Howey decided to have some fun and had one of the funniest bloopers we’ve ever seen!
Later in the season Christopher Rich, who played Brock on Reba, joined Peterman and McEntire on set and played a tattoo artist.
Fans would love to see more Reba reunions during Season Two, and the actors would love it, too!
JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who played Reba’s daughter Cheyenne, has said she would love to guest star on Happy’s Place.
“If they were to ask me to do it, I would 100 percent be there and I would move mountains to do it,” she said in an interview recently.
The Show Just Announced Some Superstar Guests For Season Two
Entertainment Weekly reported that three superstar actors will be joining Season Two as guest stars.
Back To The Future‘s Christopher Lloyd, Taxi, The Princess Bride, and Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt star Carol Kane, and Saturday Night Live alum Cheri Ohteri are set to join Happy’s Place this season in various roles.
EW reports that Ohteri will play a no-nonsense health inspector, while Lloyd and Kane, who worked together on Taxi from 1978-1982, will play a husband and wife duo who are patrons of the bar and restaurant. Lloyd’s character will apparently lose his phone and return to Happy’s Place to find it, while his wife is with him along the way.
