Country singer Thomas Rhett prayed for a fan who had a medical emergency and was removed from his concert.
Thomas is wrapping up his Home Team Tour 23, in fact Saturday night (September 30) served as his final tour stop and it just so happened to be in Nashville, Tennessee. He had an exciting weekend. Not only was he wrapping up his massive tour in his home town, he also released a new duet titled “Memaw’s House” with Morgan Wallen, and he released a new album titled 20 Number Ones.

Thomas was performing the penultimate song of the night, “Craving You,” when an audience member suffered a “massive medical emergency,” according to social media. Thomas stopped the show when he saw what happened and made sure the fan got the attention he needed. Eventually, medical personnel took the fan, whose name is Terry, away.
Thomas stayed near the fan’s friends and family and asked the audience to bow their heads and pray with him.
He bowed his head and said,
“God, we just ask for your healing over Terry. We know you are the ultimate physician. We know that you are the ultimate healer. Pray for Terry’s family right now, who [are] very scared. For Terry, who is very scared,” he continued. “God, we know that you are a miracle worker and we pray over Terry and his family right now. We ask that everybody in this room, after they leave tonight, they will continue to pray for Terry and his family. We love you. We thank you for this in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
The prayer was recorded by several fans and posted to social media. Many others who were in attendance commented, saying, “We were there too….it was so humbling to witness. So thankful he didn’t hesitate to pray.”
We will keep Terry in our prayers, and hope that he recovers and heals quickly. Watch the powerful moment in the videos below.
