So of course, when Frank stopped in Music City, he had to show up at the concert!

Thomas Rhett Makes Surprise Appearance & Hurts Himself

Frank started performing “Nothing Else” at his concert, but he stopped and said, “I can’t sing Thomas Rhett’s parts, right?”

The crowd went wild when he asked, “TR, where you at?!”

The spotlight found Rhett sitting in the crowd alone. He came down the steps pretty fast and as he stepped off the stadium seats to the floor, he lost his footing and fell down. He stood back up pretty fast and you can clearly see he was favoring his right foot as he walked on stage. He and Frank were jumping around the stage during the chorus and Rhett was jumping solely on his right leg.

“You know, every now and then you just have to sing at a Forrest Frank concert and just break your ankle in the process. I gave my all for Tennessee tonight,” he said from the wheelchair.

Ever the supportive partner, his wife Lauren Akins was cracking up while pushing him in the wheelchair.

We’re sure he will bounce back, and we’re glad he and Lauren have a good attitude about it! Watch Thomas Rhett break his ankle in the video below.
