One dozen of the Voice hopefuls who advanced to the Battle Round are country singers hoping to take their talent all the way to the finale.
12 of the 48 Voice contestants who earned chair turns during the Blind Auditions competed with a country song. While not all solely identify as hard-core country artists, their love for the genre was evident in their song choices.

Those artists are spread across each of the four teams, with Reba McEntire having the lion’s share with five. Snoop Dogg claimed three, and Michael Buble and Niall Horan secured two country artists each.
Going into the Battle Rounds, each coach had a total of twelve artists on their team. Only six will remain on each team by the end of the Battles. Unlike in past seasons, the contestants will choose their pairings going into the Battles. At the end of each Battle, the coach will choose which artist will advance to the Knockouts and who will go home. The coaches have one Save and one Steal a piece, meaning that some contestants could get a second chance.
Depending on their pairings, many of the country artists may not advance to the Knockout round. Each of the country singers listed below brings a unique sound and style to the genre and is worth supporting as the show progresses.
