Season 26 of NCB’s hit singing competition, The Voice, is underway. Coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Michael Buble, and Snoop Dogg are in search of the next rising star, with a healthy dose of friendly competition along the way.

Last night (November 4), the competitors entered the last round of battles. During the battle round, hopeful contestants are paired against another vocalist from their own team. The pair performs a duet selected by their coach, but only one will advance to the next round.

Rowdy Shea is a country artist through and through and initially impressed the coaches during his audition with a cover of Toby Keith’s “You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This.” Camryn Brooks, on the other hand, is a pop artist who earned a four-chair turn with her rendition of Maggie Rogers’ “Light On.”

Coach Gwen Stefani tasked the vocalists with performing “I Remember Everything” for their battle.

“I Remember Everything” was released by singer/songwriter Zach Bryan on his 2023 self-titled album. Fans responded quickly and positively to the duet, which featured Kacey Musgraves. Not only did it debut at number one, but it became the first song to top the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts simultaneously.

Later, “I Remember Everything” took home the Best Country Duo/Group Performance award at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.

Brooks and Shea harmonized beautifully together, and there was overall positive feedback from the Voice coaches. They acknowledged that the selection of a country song gave Shea the advantage but commended Brooks for holding her own during the performance.

Ultimately, Gwen Stefani had the difficult task of selecting which singer would move on and which would go home. She chose Camryn Brooks as the winner!
