Happy Birthday To “The Queen” Of Duck Dynasty, Miss Kay
On Monday (December 22), the Robertson family celebrated Duck Dynasty’s matriarch Miss Kay’s birthday! She turned 78 this year.
Missy Robertson, Jase’s wife, posted an adorable carousel of photos in honor of the big day, including a group shot with the entire family.
“We celebrated The Queen of our family last night,” Missy wrote.
Willie Robertson also posted a tribute in honor of his mom, crediting his ability to cook to her.
Miss Kay has had an especially difficult year, but her family has remained right by her side.

Since February of this year, Miss Kay has experienced a few health scares.
The 77-year-old suffered a serious fall and a cut to her leg that led to an infection and required surgery. Her son, Jase, even said that the injury was so bad he “thought it was life-threatening.”
She eventually managed to make a full recovery.
After her husband and Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil passed on May 25, 2025, Kay’s mental and physical health appeared to decline, leading to struggles with depression.
Fans of the Robertson family grew increasingly concerned as rumors spread about the severity of her condition. AI-generated images portraying her as gravely ill, along with false reports claiming she had passed away, only heightened public worry.
In August, however, the Robertsons confirmed that Miss Kay was doing well enough that she no longer needed assisted living and moved back to the family property.
