According to Variety, The Kelly Clarkson Show is averaging 1.37 million viewers per day. The popular daytime talk show is hosted by superstar singer and Voice coach Kelly Clarkson.

Recently, The Kelly Clarkson show received 11 Daytime Emmy nominations, serving as further proof of the huge role it plays in the daytime TV world.

Ever since it started airing in 2019, The Kelly Clarkson Show has been filmed on the Universal lot in Los Angeles. This has been convenient for Clarkson, since The Voice also films at Universal.

For a slight change of pace, The Kelly Clarkson Show has filmed its past two seasons’ premiere weeks in New York City. Now, the show is making a major change by moving its entire production to the Big Apple.

Variety shared the news on Monday (May 8) that The Kelly Clarkson show will film its next season at NBC Studios in 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. The show will be filmed in studio 6A, where Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, and David Letterman have all filmed productions.

According to Variety, “a new state-of-the-art studio will be built for Clarkson’s show, as well as technical facility and support space.”

Variety says “an individual familiar with the talk show’s plans” has said details are still being worked out with the show’s Los Angeles-based staff. The outlet reports that Clarkson will move to New York, as will executive producer and showrunner, Alex Duda, and Clarkson’s musical director, Jason Halbert.
